Shipping Policy

This shipping and delivery policy is part of our ‘terms of service’ and should therefore be read alongside our main terms of service.

Please carefully review our shipping and delivery policy when purchasing our products. This policy will apply to any order you place with us

 

WHAT ARE MY DELIVERY OPTIONS?

In all cases a third-party courier will be handling the shipping of our products to you and managing delivery. Currently we are using a Royal Mail 24 hour Tracked  Service. However, this service is nort a guaranteed one, so it is possible that the actual delivery time could be longer! If you do experience a delay in the stated delivery time, please do not worry that your products will deteriorate in transit. Our buns are packaged to stay fresh for up to 10 days in a ambient 

All times and dates given for delivery are provided in good faith but are estimates only.

For EU and UK Consumers, this does not affect your statutory rights. Unless specifically noted, delivery estimates reflect the earliest available delivery. For more information, please visit our terms of service.

We offer the following shipping rates:

For a small box weighing less than 1Kg ( typically a single box of 5 buns or 4 croissants ) –  £3.95

For a larger box weighing more than 1Kg ( all parcels other than single boxes ) – £5.95

ARE THERE ANY OTHER SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS?

We are currently using a 1–2 day service from The Royal Mail. What this means is that whilst usually, the vast majority of orders will be delivered  on a 1–2 day service, it is not guaranteed, and may therefore be delivered the following day or even later on random occasions.

The Royal Mail does deliver on weekends, but the service we use does not guarantee a weekend delivery. Our production facility is not routinely operational during the weekend, so orders placed at the weekend will be processed but not despatched until Monday. 

WHAT IF I HAVE A SPECIAL DATE I NEED MY DELIVERY FOR ?

If you have a date your delivery needs to get to you back, please do order earlier than you would think you would need to. We use a 24-hour service from despatch, but this is a service that is not guaranteed. Oliphant’s buns and pastries last much longer in the special bags we use than you would imagine and so you can place an order at least a week in advance and the buns will still be fresh for baking on arrival. If you need a delivery on a specific day guaranteed, then just contact us and we can look into an alternative delivery method for you.

 

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY ORDER IS DELAYED?

If delivery is delayed for any reason, we will contact you immediately and advise you on a new estimated delivery date. For EU and UK Consumers, this does not affect your statutory right, see our terms of service.

Returns Policy

Due to the perishable nature of our delicious products, we don’t accept returns. However, we always strive to give the best possible experience to our guests, and if you are dissatisfied in any way, please get in touch and we will do what we can to set things right. Tip: We may ask you for a photo for reference so be sure to keep an image of your product(s)!
